<p>Being able to watch an artist paint in real time and ask questions about their process was the inspiration behind my Pull Up A Chair Series. I wanted to offer painters the chance to see the creative problem solving strategies I use, watch me hit road blocks and solve them, and give you a back stage pass to grasp the mental dance I make when I am considering the how and why of what I paint. </p><p>I discuss process, techniques, inspiration, products and paint live for 3 hours. You get to pull up a chair and ask questions, pick my brain, and sketch along if you like. This session is all about creating figurative portraits with an emphasis on the eyes. </p>

This is the second of six online experiences in the Pull Up A Chair Series where I go live for 3 hours and share my process and insight. This time it's all about abstract faces and I'll be working from abstract grounds with an emphasis on the eyes.
